Story Bible

Settings/ worlds

Time period: present days-ish.

​1) Modern Museum Gallery.

 

Very minimalistic setting: white walls, information desk, cafeteria, a couple seats here and there, information panels and brochures. Generously spaced are sculptures and paintings. Bright, artificial lighting. 

​

2) Secret office.

​

The office is also modern. There is, obviously, some office furniture, stationery and documents. On top of that, there are unpacked, boxed exhibit pieces lying around creating a mess. However, the most notable part of the office is the giant safe with a digital pass code. The safe is big enough to fit a person inside. Some of the objects around the office should tell a story of the antagonist and the Damsel in Distress.

Backstories of the characters

​1) The player - playable avatar, silent protagonist. Initially goes to meseum to relax.

​

2) Damsel in Distress - Enslaved in the safe in the director's office. Until the safe is opened the player does not know what is inside. Her motivations or origins are not clear to the player, creates suspense.

​

3) Museum Director - agnostic menace, meaning he will not necessarily will be actively setting up obstacles for the player, because they were mostly set already. 

​

Most of the backstories will be updated as the project goes on.
